About Chanelle
Chanelle has been passionate about Dressage from a early age. Despite going through the pony club system and eventing to training level, Chanelle always felt more connected to the challenge and discipline of Dressage. Having started competing in Young Rider Dressage events from age 14, Chanelle never had the horse power to achieve all her goals, but she enjoyed the learning that came with riding a wide range of ever challenging horses.
Chanelle was very fortunate to meet Sheena Ross in 2009 and this lead to a huge leap in training opportunities and the chance to work with some lovely horses. To this day, Chanelle is mentored by Sheena who is a fabulous trainer and great friend. Sheena's advice, encouragement and support is without doubt a key reason why Chanelle is where she is today.

-> Winning NZPCA Dressage Championships Team 2006
-> Young Rider New Zealand Team member for international competition against Australia and South Africa 2005
-> Selected to have a lesson with then World Champion Steffen Peters (USA) at FEI Dressage Forum riding Sheena Ross' Grand Prix horse, Glenbrae Ivanhoe
-> FEI World Dressage Challenge Zone 9 winner Preliminary 2011
-> FEI World Dressage Challenge Zone 9 top 4 place getter in Prelimary and Elementary 2008-2010
-> Winner and placegetter in numerous Regional and National Competitions in Level 1 to 3
-> Placed 7th overall at Horse of the Year Level 1 (2010 and 2015) on self produced horses
As a coach, Chanelle is dedicated to her pupils 100%. Helping them to achieve their goals is her number one priority. Having a well rounded view point that incorporates in the saddle training, fitness, nutrition and mental strength ensures that pupils are given the opportunity to develop as elite athletes.
Chanelle is hugely competitive and very goal orientated. This is something that many pupils find beneficial as they can work on a plan with Chanelle for their season and it keeps everyone focused on the right path.
Outside of Beaumont, Chanelle has very little time for anything else! She loves to travel and enjoys working on business development with her partner, Matt.
