"I got in contact with Chanelle early August this year about some Dressage lessons for my mare I want to compete dressage on, and a few lessons every now and then for my guy I want to jump. My Dressage girl then became temporarily out of action, so my ‘every now and then’ guy became our sole focus. We have been having lessons with Chanelle for the past 3 months, and the difference in this short amount of time is amazing! He is always up for the challenge of finding the easy way out – with Chanelle describing him as ‘one of the most stubborn horses she had worked with’.. but such a sweetheart.In this short time, with weekly/ fortnightly lessons, she has worked with us both to improve our flatwork, to become more responsive, soft and accepting of work ....well most work, still has stubborn moments! You always hear the saying, ‘Dressage is the foundation to all disciplines, in order to jump, you first need the flatwork’- we still have a long way to go, but the hard work is slowly starting to show, with a neck full of ribbons at a Spring show and 2nd overall in our first ODE.
